My name is Iyswarya Narayanan. I’m a Performance and Capacity Engineer at Facebook. I’m a part of CEA Resource Foundation where we build telemetry and insights for servers, power and network resources in Facebook’s fleet. I graduated with a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Penn State in 2019. My PhD advisor is Prof. Anand Sivasubramaniam. Previously, I’ve worked as a research intern at Microsoft Research, Redmond (2014, 2015 and 2017) and as a researcher at TCS Innovation Labs – Chennai (2010-2013).
I’m broadly interested in datacenter scale computing with a focus on capacity provisioning, power/energy management, storage systems and data analytics.
